Nazmul Hossain Shanto has been appointed the Test captain of the Bangladesh cricket team for the two-match series against New Zealand starting at home.

The 22-year-old player has been rewarded for his stellar performances in first-class cricket. Shahadat Hussain Dipu and fast bowler Hasan Mahmood are the other uncapped players selected in the squad.
