For IPL 2025, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has named South African power hitter Heinrich Klasson as the top player in the retention list. SRH will retain Klasson as the first player for Rs 23 crore. Australian all-rounder and Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins will be retained for 18 crores and Indian all-rounder Abhishek Sharma will be retained for 14 crores.
Sunrisers Hyderabad will also retain Travis Head and Nitish Kumar Reddy soon. The deadline for IPL retention is 31 October 2024, with the auction for the IPL 2025 season scheduled for later this year.
SRH finalist in 2024, Pat Cummins will remain the captain of the team in 2025 as well.
